Coming out for the consoles of the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360 and the PC is the game, Crysis 2. This game, that has been developed by Cretek Studios and has been published by the well known Electronic Arts, is going to be made available at a date that is still currently being decided but it is going to be some time later in this year. An approximate time frame for the release of this game is during the holiday season of this year.

Until recently, Cretek was keeping this game pretty secretive about not revealing details about the game. After finally being given a try at playing this game, the following is a short preview that has been said about the game, Crysis 2:

“Long gone are the idyllic beaches, rocky outcrops and lush canopy of the jungle that defined both of the company’s biggest games, Far Cry and Crysis. The pitch now is ‘urban jungle,’ with palm trees replaced by traffic lights, beaches swapped for bus stops, and rocky cliffs transformed into skyscraper rubble. Disaster has once more found a home downtown.”

Make sure to look into this game for more details before it releases some time a lot later in the year.

All Star Karate

. This game will be available starting tomorrow, Tuesday, April 20th. In this game, that has been published by THQ, you are going to follow the life of a novice of martial arts. He soon finds himself coming up face to face with a karate master. This master of karate takes time to teach you all of the various techniques and tricks of karate. He helps to guide you to earn your black belt.

Many different game modes are available to play. In the career mode, a single player mode, you will attempt to master a number of different karate moves using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, or two Wii Remotes. Try to earn all seven of the colored belts including the highest one, the black belt. Also, challenge mode is where you can show off all of the new great moves you have attained as you go up against your friend. Finally, the Kata Editor mode will allow for you to create your very own moves to perform.

Make sure to look into this game when it comes out starting tomorrow.

Dead Rising 2 Preview

Coming out for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 is the game Dead Rising 2. Currently, the set release date of this action packed game is Auguest 31st of this year. This adventure game, that has been published by Capcom and has been developed by Blue Castle Games, does not have very many changes compared to the first Dead Rising.

3D Dot Game Heroes Review

Coming out for the Sony PlayStation 3 is the game, 3D Dot Game Heroes. Releasing exclusively for the PS3, the action, role playing game will be available starting on the day of May 11th of this year.

Here is a brief review which has been given to this game:

“3D Dot Game Heroes rips off The Legend of Zelda, but it does so in the most complimentary way possible. 3D Dot Game Heroes is an attempt to develop a video game we all wish Nintendo would create but know in our hearts likely never will: a brand-new old school Zelda. If Nintendo won’t do it, Japanese developer Silicon Studios must have thought to themselves: ‘Okay, then. We will.’ The end product of high-definition nostalgia is one filled of mixed results, and it’s had me circling back to the biggest question I’ve asked about 3D Dot Game Heroes: so, is it any good? That’s a loaded question that requires a complicated answer. It’s a yes…and a no.”

NFL Hardest Hits 2009/2010

One of the largest factors that several youth deal with today is in relation to their self-esteem. Several suffer by looking at themselves as not good enough. This may range from seeing their body image in the wrong light to seeing their mental states as not quite right. There are ways to help youth with their self-esteem. By suggesting and supporting things like sports, you will be certain to decrease their chances at unhealthy activities from a low self-esteem.

It is known that when children enter into school, they will generally have a high self-esteem. More than eighty percent of children in the first grade will start out by thinking highly of themselves and believing that they can do anything. By the time these same children reach the fifth grade, the attitude towards themselves and the self-esteem has dropped to about twenty percent. By the time children graduate from high school, the amount that has a high self esteem is at a low of five percent.

Along with the low self-esteem come things such as drug use, early sex, and failure with steps towards a career. At the same time, it is also being found that those who play sports are less likely to take part in these activities. Instead, those who play sports are more likely to develop a higher self-esteem and participate in positive activities. Because the children and youth are being challenged to succeed, and encouraged to continue through the use of a team and the sport, they are able to develop a better insight towards their own self-image.

The idea of self-esteem in sports has become such a major component of the sports, that several areas are now committed to giving more youth activities outside of school specifically to battle low self-esteem and offer alternatives for success. It is being found that no matter what type of physical activity or sport the youth participate in, it is helping to build them into better adults with a more positive outlook on whom they are.

If you notice any type of anxiety, depression, or negative reaction from your child, their self-esteem may need some help. If you want to make sure that they graduate from high school feeling good about their accomplishments, then you can enroll them in a physical activity to help out. By doing this, you will be able to give them another option away from the negative outlook that they may have.

2010 NFL Schedule

The 2010 NFL Schedule has been released! Its that time again as the anticipation approaches and we can all get a taste of football season, if only for a brief moment. The full regular-season schedule was announced today at 7 p.m. ET.

The Saints and Vikings will kick off the 2010 season on Thursday September 9 at the Superdome in New Orleans at 8:30 p.m. ET.
